 "THE GUARDIAN"

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial displays the name of every police officer who has died in the line of duty. Massive lion statues stand guard over baby lions at play beneath them at each entrance and exit. These lions represent many things to different people who experience the Memorial everyday. To me, they represent police officers as the guardians of society, as well as this special place. Keeping them safe...night after night. Can they be vulnerable...yes. But what would we do without them ...

Size: 16" x 20" matted (If unmatted, can fit into an 11" x 14" frame.)
Matting: available in Black or Marble / matted or unmatted. *If desired, this can include an actual rubbing of the name and 8x10 photo of name on Wall.

 "HONORING THE FALLEN"

This Memorial grounds print allows a very unique opportunity to have a fallen officer's name actually rubbed from the Wall by the artist and placed into the print with the name of his or her agency. A generic version is also available without a name. Further customization is available, such as several officers' names in the windows. Please email the artist directly with these special requests.

This print is a more contemporary version of the Grounds Print with the male lion in greater detail. The background in the banner behind the name is actually from a photo of the Wall ... the officer's badge or patch can also be put in place of the NLEOM patch.
*The artist will send the customer the actual rubbing from the Wall of the officer's name.
